2018 Estate Barbera
This tantalizing, acid driven Barbera has a nose of dark spice, red plum and leather. Refined tannins frame a long and satisfying finish. Soaring flavors of cherry pie, brown baking spice, and blood orange flood the palate. Further hints of star anise complement this complex wine and add interest and intrigue. Eventually dried herbs and spice shine through. The vibrant acidity accentuates a lovely freshness on the palate creating a very versatile and rounded red that is food friendly in most cases.
